The black ops freezes in the same place over and again i escape the chair i get punced and that is as far as i get i have reinstalled the game starting over and did not work how do i get passed that?

The graphics card doesn't support this game. Many realistic type games "Highly Realistic Graphics" need the added performance of a dedicated higher end graphics card. Example: I'm a huge gamer and I play games that you could/would play on the Xbox One or PlayStation 4. So my Gaming Video Card cost me $480 US dollars. ( High End )
Look at the recommended, supported Video Card for Black Ops and go from that point "Note" If your computer is a laptop; chances are, you will not be able to do any video upgrades. You'd just be out of luck and your laptop wasn't made for higher end games. If it is a Desktop, you might be in luck. To upgrade a desktop: (1) Available video card slot (2) Does the computer case support a video card upgrade (3) What power supply does your computer have and what WATT Power supply does the new video card need. Most higher end video cards need a higher WATT power supply - So standard power supply 350 WATT - Video upgrade average 500Watt to 800Watt.

Hope this helps, Have a great night..

Error message: The video card you are running is not supported

I found the following link for this game's hardware requirements:

http://planetmedalofhonor.gamespy.com/mohairborne/

What this means is that your video card (display adapter), the part that creates the graphical image for your monitor, is not enough to run this game.
You will need to get a discrete video card for the computer is order to play this game.
You didn't post your system's information, but I can help you find a compatible card for your system if you are up to doing it yourself, etc.
Provide your brand (Dell, HP) and model # (Inspiron, Pavilion) as well as your version of windows.

Need drivers for intel video card for toshiba satellite A660-1GG. I get an error that either my Hardware acceleration is disabled or not supported by my video card and to make sure that the latest...

What is the reason you want new drivers? Areyou trying a game that is not working? Did you check to make sure the game or software supports your video card? This unit only has integrated intel hd graphics which really doesn't support much of anything.

you cna get the drivers here http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/hdgraphics/

Have loaded THQ world of zoo on computer, when we hit play it comes up with Failed to render engine. Fatal error. Can you help

GetDeviceCaps() is a DirectX routine call made by the game engine to check you video card details, what all it is capable of supporting, and after that the game engine takes certain decisions on what all things to initialize for it. If that is failing, it means that the game engine is not able to read your video card properly. In plain language your Video card cannot support the game software.

Chance that there is something wrong with your video drivers. Try to update your Video card drivers to the most current. and also update your DirectX.

If your video card is the problem, upgrade to a better one that can support the game video.

Hopes it helps.

My medal of honor game wont work in my laptop!

The game has its own compatibility :

RECOMMENDED SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:
Windows 2000/XP
Procesador P IV 3GHz/AMD Athlon 3000+ (3GHz for Celeron)
1 GB RAM
Video card: GeForce 6800/ATI Radeon X800
Sound card DX 9 compatible
700 MB of free space on hard drive
DirectX 9.0c

Please note that video cards that do not support hardware pixel shaders version 2.0 or better do not fully meet the game's minimum spec and will therefore suffer performance issues.
The Game was not tested with onboard graphics cards, including laptops.
Supported video cards at time of release: nVidia GeForce 6600, 6800, 7600, 7800, 7900, ATI Radeon: 9800, X800, X1300, X1600, X1800. X1900

if your system specifications cannot met the games requirements, sorry to say this but you cannot play the game.

Portal will not work on my XP computer, it just keeps on saying "must have a minimum of directx 8.0." I installed directx 9.0 and it still doesn't work.

The reason why portal will not run on that system is the Video will not support the Game. If the system has Intel integrated video, then I can verify the Intel Video cannot support portal

If the system has an Expansion Video card, then that card also doesn't support the game. Most likely, then system is just too old to support Portal (It will not run on my Inspiron 700m but does run on my Inspiron 6400 and Dimension 8400, which both have good video cards.
