Personally I think the prices that you paid for the new TXV and dryer are VERY far out of line.Get what information you can off of the TXV power assembly and valve body along with the manufacturer of the valve and I will see what I can find out for you. If it is the power assembly that is rusted out and leaking there are kits for replacement parts on most valves.

SOURCE: Scotsman ice machine is not making ice. There is

The manual has an exploded parts diagram use as guide to locate parts.
First check the timer, you can manually turn it through a cycle or watch it rotate on its own.
Check the water inlet solenoid valve. if all looks well and you have definite water flow past the valve, then
Check spray pump. You have to remove the rear panel. The pump has a fan on the top. spin the fan if it is at all tight the ;pump is bad.
I have owned 2 of these units and have had failures of all of the above parts over the years.

Model # SCE170A-1C will not start, it has a red light on the door sensor , I do not any voltage on the coil of the contactor

If you are talking about the bin sensor on the White door in front of the evaporator plate and the door is not being held open from a full bin then you need to replace the bin switch. The controller thinks the bin is full of ice and will not let machine start.

Scotsman sce275a-1h

Replace the din full sensors this will let the ice machine start up if the sump tray dose not start to fill up with water look at board to see if water full light is on if so replace water sensor that is in water sump tray. if light is not on then check to see if you are getting power to water valve if you are getting voltage to valve then check water filter dose it need to be replaced. now never use any thing other than ice machine cleaner made for ice machines it has to be nickle safe are you will dammage the evaporator plate.

Scotsman AFE400 ice machine not turning off when bin full

There can be a few reasons why your Scotsman SCE275A-1H ice machine is not turning off when the bin is full:
  1. Bin level sensor: The bin level sensor is responsible for detecting when the ice bin is full. Make sure that the sensor is properly connected to the control board and that it is not damaged. Also, check if the sensor has been replaced with the proper one for your model of icemaker.
  2. Control board: The control board controls the operation of the ice maker, Make sure that the control board is properly connected to the power source and that it is not damaged. It's possible that the control board is malfunctioning, which can cause the ice maker to not turn off when the bin is full.
  3. Wiring: Make sure that all the wiring connections between the different components of the machine are securely connected and not damaged.
  4. Air filter: Ensure that the air filter is clean and not clogged, this can cause the machine to overheat and not turn off.
  5. Control switch: The control switch may be faulty, preventing the machine from turning off. If this is the case, the switch will need to be repaired or replaced.
It's best to consult the user manual or to contact a professional technician to diagnose the problem, as the issue could be caused by a number of things and it's important to troubleshoot it correctly. The technician will be able to run a diagnostic test to determine the root cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs.

My binsensor lingh is on but my bin is not full so my ice machine

I see you already said you bin sensor light was on. The drop door has a metal tab that waves over a sensor as it opens, if that part when it closes does not tell the board that door is shut the the board thinks the bin is full. I know you already know that but until I can talk to Scotsman on the phone or review their service manual for your model. One good thing about Scotsman is they are very helpful to their customers. Unless the machine is obsolete.
