Description

Process related service call High-voltage transformer abnormality: Leakage of the main charger is detected.

Causes

Remedy

1. Is the main charger installed securely? 2. Check if the spring of high-voltage supply contact point is deformed. 3. Check if the needle electrode is broken or the main charger grid is deformed. 4. Check if any foreign matters is on the needle electrode or the main charger grid. 5. Check if the transfer roller and the separation needle are installed securely. 6. Check if the transfer roller or the separation needle is removed. 7. Check if there is any foreign matter attached on the transfer roller or the separation needle. Toshiba Studio 283 Error Codes

C970 is an arc check your bios pin on maincharge as well as the transfer seperation unit its loosing powerto one of the charges

you seem to be having some issues ... ... ... the codes you are getting are related to the color calibration. possibly with the cyan developer unit or the high voltage board. to properly diagnose and fix the problem you will need a technican to fix the problem

Check if the charger wire at the side door is broken or main charger grid is deformed.
& if any foreign matters are on the charger wire or main charger grid.

it has a problem with the HIGH VOLTS CARD, maybe in the transfer area.
other posible solution it is that in the charge unit need to clean by humid.

1. Check and clean the main charger, replace if required.

2. Check and clean the transfer/sep. unit, replace if required.

3. Before you replace the HVT board, check HVT connector bracket (the black color plastic piece mounted on the machine frame where the main charger connects). If this part is damaged or cracked, the high voltage will arc through this, which can cause C970. (found in several machines).

1. Primary or main chargers cable must be disconnect.
2. Tranfer charger ......
3. H.B.T. (High Voltage problem)
4. Transfer charger Connector is out of work, that means lickage, broken ...

Cheak this I think Thats the real problem, You can solve that by fixing the TR by any kind of glue, I think u can understand what u have to do so .....

C970 indicates charging issue. Need to check the T/S block and main charger for deform/broken wires.
