Hotpoint aquarius 1100 bangs while spinning

My hotpoint aquarius wd62 has started making a banging noise when on the spin cycle and moves the surrounding cupboards and worktop, however when you turn the drum there is no noise from the bearings.

Check both springs on top /remove lid you may find one spring is broken......

Hotpoint wf740 aquarius 1400 v noisy banging during spin = dust

It could be a broken drum restraint spring, or a worn or broken. or loose shock absorber.
To check the springs, remove the top cover, and you will see the springs.
Another possibility is the concrete weight could be broken or loose.
You need to remove the lower rear panel of washer to check the shockers and concrete weight.

hi take the top of the machine and check the brick at top or bottom of the machine they sometimes come lose .

Banging during spin

Check to ensure the machine is level first, then that the load is level when wet. If not, something could possibly get in there (though I doubt it). You can probably see most of what you have to access when you open the back, just make sure it is unplugged first. Should be easy to check it out if you have to. I would look at the first two solutions first, whick may save your afternoon to watch the football game. Hope this helps :).

My hotpoint aquarius front loader has power but wont work.

Most likely the Door interlock is faulty or has fallen apart (through the banging of the door)

Hi,i have a hotpoint aquarius wf340.which makes a very loud banging noise every time it spins,it works fine otherwise!

I had the same issue with a similar machine. Need to replace the spindle assembly (or otherwise make sure) that the belt is tight. Try replacing belt first.
Make sure machine is level. test it by putting some stuffed sockes in the machine, let them get thrown around. Listen for the banging noise, apart from the soft socks hitting the tumbler.

My aquarius hotpoint 1100 started banging the other day while spinning i stopped it took out some of the clothes as it was overloaded but when i turned it back on it kept trippin the rcd on the fuse board...

Banging washing machine on spins

Hi. I don't know if your problem has been sorted yet, if it has not ,then it sounds to me llke the concrete balance weight is loose or broken

There are 2 of them, one in the top of the m/c, and one at the bottom, if either of them are loose, then that is your problem.

If loose, can be tightened up, if broken away from the drum then you have a major problem

Hotpoint Aquarius WF250 Loud banging when spinning

The hardest amount to balance is a load with just one item.Because you have nothing to counter balance the other side.So,first off,put in a normal load ,make sure your washer is level by using a level to assure it is, other wise if its not all the clothes will group in one spot where its not level ,than when time to spin you have a un balanced load.

Several possible reasons for this. M/C not level, causing it to move about.
Overloading of m/c.
Loose concrete balance weight, there is one at top and one at bottom.
Suspension spring broken or unhooked.
Suspension leg loose or broken.
Main drum bearings worn, to check this, turn drum by hand and if it feels noisy or rough , then bearings have gone (expensive repair).
There are other possible causes, but these are the main reasons.
Plz rate my solution.
