Dishwasher destroyed bowl

I understood from the packaging that the various parts of the processor were dishwasher safe. Unfortunately the other day the plastic bowl came out of the dishwasher looking squashed up and deformed. The lid won't fit on so the machine is now useless. Is it possible to get a replacement bowl?? Either over the net or somewhere in Queensland, Aus.

The company should replace the plastic lid and bowl for the Combimax 650 Food Processor as it says it is dishwasher safe but melts in the dishwasher!! Another problem is I cannot find the website for Braun to complain to them.  This is ridiculous! Knowing this now I will never buy their product again if something is not done about it.   [email protected]

In need of Bowl and blade

GENERAL ELECTRIC FOOD PROCESSOR MODEL 106622F WORK BOWL

I was able to locate a bowl for the 106622F processor on E -Bay. You may be able to find a blade on E-Bay. From what I gather, there is no source for replacement parts, other than used parts. I hope this helps ! Good Luck....

How do you take bowl off for cleaning

Hope you've worked it out by now, but there are 2 notches at the bottom of the bowl that slot into the base. To remove the bowl, take the lid off and rotate the bowl clockwise so the notches disengage from the base, and simply lift it off/. I assume if you couldn't do this the bowl must have had a lot of gunk stuck in the notches which prevented it from moving - yuk! I put my bowl and lid in the dishwasher - no prob.

I have a kitchenaid food processor and the bowl is tightly set on the right side of center. I can't straighten it out and when I try to move it, it sounds like I'm cracking plastic. It won't run! Any...

Items required:
-dishwasher
-detergent
-lemonade or other citric liquid
-poochy
-skillz

Step 1:
gently position poochy around tube in center of bowl. Fill halfway with lemonade or other citric liquid.

Step 2: Put lid of processor on and put entire unit in dishwasher. Turn on power scrub cycle.
The dishwashing cycle will help the citric acid to activate the poochy.

Step 3: Use skillz to wriggle the bowl off the processor. Empty out poochy remains.
Congratulations! YOU'VE GOT SKILLZ!

Dishwasher safe?

I would not reccomend it. The water, soap etc is safe, but the heat drying process risks melting parts, and they are surprisingly expensive to replace for being plastic.
