Pictues lost?? (but there are still limits to the amount of pictures i can take) confused.
Kind of hard to describe but, i've taken a lot of pictures and videos on my trip and when i got back, they're all lost! I don't know where they have gone..
BUT i found it weird because there's still limits for the number for pictures i take. For example, my memory card can store 200 images. Now, on the "photo-taking" screen, on the top right corner, it says i can only take 6 more pictures.
Well then, where did all my pictures and videos went???
I tried connecting my camera to the computer, the pictures i took in the trip is not there?
Can someone please tell me what happened and what can i do?
Thanks a ton. :)

I have the perfect utility. Although I cannot guarantee that it will get your pics and vids back for you, it did for me. Best of all, it's FREEWARE! Go to the link below, and download the version you need:

Feel free to e-mail me if you can't figure out how to use the software: [email protected]
Good luck!

If you have an exceptional amount of pictures on your camera...This could be a simple problem solver? You need to remove some or all your of your pictures from your camera to create more memory and storage.
You have a couple of options
Save all your pictures to memory card, from the memory card save to your computer in a file or to a USB Flash Drive (Cruzer), or on a CD/DVD disk.
Or, install a new Memory card that has more Storage Capabilities.
You need to check your setting as to how the pictures are viewed and stored, it's possible you have your camera set to auto rotate and also auto set format...change these settings to manual!
Sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC18. From what you've described, it sounds as though the hose may be twisted when you replace the wand on the cleaner after use. Checking that the hose is straight before you replace the wand should prevent this from happening. However, if you've tried this and find that the wand still requires a lot of force to remove, please get in touch with us directly. One of our experts will be happy to run through some troubleshooting checks with you and provide further assistance. You can call us free on 08002980298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON.
If you go to http://www.pentaximaging.com/support/manuals-and-literature/ you can find the manual for your camera. From my experience the E on a Pentax camera means the film isn't loaded properly. Hope this helps.
first off..you dont review the already taken pictures in viewfinder ;) i know you meant the display..
The one you described is not a problem but a facility to let you know that the details might have lost in that area commonly called as white wash.
to comeout of it while its blinking just press the four way button up multiple times..various view options will come like histograms n image parameters info etc. keep pressing it untill the normal picture comes back without the washed part flashing.
The problem you are describing is a problem with one of the chips in the camera that controls image processing. It seems to have failed and needs to be replaced. Following are the instructions to send your camera to Olympus for service.
Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if beyond the one year factory warranty or the warranty is voided. The cost is $47.85 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.
In the setup menu of your camera there is an option to rotate the images automatically, or not to. Just select the option which matches your preference.
Try opening the document that contains the images and then changing the view to either 'Print Layout' or 'Web layout'. This can be done via the 'VIEW' menu on the top tool bar.
delete/move some/all of the pictures you have taken and stored to your camera's internal memory the internal memory on some of these camera's is quite small... does the camera have and SD slot? try saving your pictures to this instead if it has.. ultimately a camera is not meant as a storage medium for your pictues print them or transfer them to your computer.
