I have a new balance 1500 treadmill. While running the incline went all the way up and I could not get it to come back down using the up and down buttons, i hit the power button and the treadmill would not shut down. I finally pulled the emergency switch and it turned off. Now, when i go to try and turn it on it does not turn on via the power button; when I turn the switch on the board lights up brifley and displays ML and then shuts off and does not stay powered up. Please help

open the HOOD cover from the main motor and read the step to follow. or read you instru manual download from www.iconservice. com and proceed accordign. God bless you
Ernesto, thank you for your continued help but this NEW BALANCE Treadmill is not supported by ICON and my instruction Manual does not tell you how to service or runt he software calibration. I did open the hood and tool some voltage readings coming out the MCB and all the voltages seem to be there. Your additional help is appreciated, the model number is a NEw Balanace 1500 Treadmill
also. I did not see a Calibration switch on the Main Motor board
adjust the speed sensor, clean it and tight the plug very well. ,there are not switch i recomend that you see under the hood the instruction calibration. However give your email and will guide you with more information in how to run the software calibration

there is a short in the incline the motor is bad

It sound like either the wire harness that goes to upper console is bad or the Motor Control Board that has the 5v or 12v is missing. Here is the bad news New Balance is out of the Treadmill business and do not carry these items anymore. Their might be one other thing you might try is that if this unit was not maintain as owner's manual suggests, then the fuse may have open up. You must open the motor shroud locate motor control board find the fuse, if you have a multi meter check continuity of the fuse if open replace it with the same value ( maybe 15amps). Plug unit in if the display returns then proceed to do the prescribe maintenance in owner's hopefully that the belt and deck was not damaged when it went dead.
