You seem to have been thorough; I found no US source for the tablets.

When searching google.de and using the German name for these, 'Bosch reinigungstabletten' I got almost 20,000 hits in just about every European language.
They are available from numerous stores there at prices ranging from 7 to 12 Euros (today: 1 Euro=~ $1.60) for a package of 10 plus shipping.

Considering the cost of the machine, this is an inexcusable omission by Bosch and I recommend contacting them directly and demanding they be stocked in the US or Canada.

I would just use a mixture of 1/4 water to 3/4 parts white vinegar. Run this through and then follow up with 2 plain water flushes. This will dissolve the deposits and it won't hurt you if any is left in the system.

I've had trouble getting the cleaning tablets too. I have been using Jura-Capresso Cleaning Tablets. Not sure where you would get them in Dubai but in the US these are readily available on the web.
