See this causes and fix it. God bless you
Lid Switch Assembly If the washer stops mid cycle the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly If the washer stops mid cycle the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Water Inlet Valve If the washer stops mid cycle the water inlet valve cold water side may have failed. Most washers have a cold water rinse and so if they can't fill with cold water they just sit indefinitely waiting for the cold water to enter. If there is cold water to the water inlet valve and the cold water works in other parts of the cycle - or to make warm water - the valve is not the problem.
Main Control Board If the washer stops mid-cycle the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other causes first such as the lid or door switch and other components.

Timer If the washer stops mid cycle the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this timer.

The m/c will not normally spin if there is a lot of water in it.
You need to check the pump to see if it is working o/k, and check the filter also.
The filter is located behind the bottom kick strip at the front.
Undo screws ,remove strip and unscrew the pump cover anti- clockwiwse to remove, be care ful as there will be some water run out.Clean filter and try again.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Lights flashing on Hotpoint BHWM129

I had a similar problem with my Hotpoint BHWM 129 washing machine. The washer would not spin or drain properly and all the lights flashed after a wash cycle.
The solution was to pull the washer out and UNBLOCK the drain pipe which was crushed AND filled with 'gunk'. Once the crushed pipe was massaged back to normal size and the gunk was removed my problem was fixed. Not a nice job but I was going to ring HOTPOINT at £125 a call out fee so I am happy. I hope this helps someone else in time.

Hotpoint Aqualtis washing machine has lights flashing shortly after cycle start. The Cycle progress lights and on/off button light all flash and cycle ceases to continue.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

(no promises but it's worth carrying this out anyway!)
I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

I have a hotpoint aqualtis aqxgf 149 pm washing machine and it keeps flashing up with f-o5

Pressure Switch jammed on full
Possible pump block, check pump etc. for blockage
Check pressure switch, wiring and module connections

Also in the first instance check the drain pump filter for any blockage or, if there isn't a drain pump filter fitted the pump will need to be removed and inspected for any blockages. If you have any further questions message me back. Please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations in the future Thanks Rick

Hotpoint Aqualtis AQGF 149 Error F-05 what does mean?

I have a hotpoint model number WD72 6 year old it has been diplaying a check outlet pipe error, the only way to complete wash cycle is to select a spin cycle, this has now stopped and water came out of the...

Sounds like it is not draining, that is why water came out on spin.
You need to check the outlet pipe, and see if there is a blockage anywhere.
Also the pump may not be working.
There is a filter built into the sump hose, you need to remove the back panel to access it, and then remove the large black hose fastened to the bottom of the drum.
In there you will find the filter, remove and clean if required.
Hope this helps, if any further prob, come back to me. Please leave feedback.Thanks.

My Hotpoint Aqualtis washing machine keeps getting stuck towards the end of its cycle. It shows a F-05 on the digital display. Previously I was able to get the washing machine to finish by putting it on...

My Aqualtis just stopped mid program with F-05 on the display. This is apparently a failure to drain properly. I was luckily able to hold the power button to cancel the current program drain the water out (very slowly) and empty the machine.
THIS IS HOW I RESOLVED MY PROBLEM.
Disconnect the machine from the mains. Turn off the water supply to the machine. Disconnect the cold water pipe from the machine at the top corner.(Watch out for some water) Remove the drain hose from where you have it going to.  Pull the machine out and lay it gently down on the left side panel (use a towel to protect the side and absorb any water). Then, from the now exposed underside there is a black rubber pipe connected to the pump (black) coming from the main drum. Use some pliers to pinch the steel spring that clamps the hose in place and remove. Then using your fingers (there is nothing sharp in there) see if you can find any blockage.
I REMOVED: A pound coin, a dairylea slice wrapper and a piece of kinder bueno packet.
Carefully replace the black hose making sure it is fully on. Replace the drain hose, reconnect the water pipe and turn the water back on. (check to see it's dry with no leaks). Plug it in, turn on and that for me was it. Job Done.
