Why my taylor ice cream machine model 161-27 lost refrigerant, all tube is leaked test but no found no leak except the evaporator.

If your evaporator is leaking, then it most likely rusted out as Taylor used regular steel to make the outer layer of the evaporator on machines that are older. The evaporator is the most expensive part of a Taylor ice cream machine. It will probably be cheaper to purchase another used but newer machine.

Any maintenance issues on a taylor 430 frozen drink machine

The Taylor 430 is a solid machine. The only maintenance you need to worry about are:
1. Cleaning - Follow the instructions. Supplies are here.
2. Replace wear parts - Scraper Blades and Tune-up kit

The next most purchased part for that machine is the freezer door, but the good news is the new replacement is much stronger than the old ones.

I need to down load a manual for ge ice cream maker model 106765

Place the mixer bowl in the freezer. The amount of time required depends on the temperature of your freezer, but you should expect to leave it in the freezer for about one day prior to use. To check if the bowl is frozen, shake it gently. If you don't hear any liquid sloshing around inside, it's ready to use.

  • 2

Place the mixer bowl onto the motor base when you're ready to make ice cream. Insert the mixing paddle into the bowl and place the cover over the bowl.

  • 3

Turn on the ice cream maker and pour the ice cream mixture into the hole at the center of the appliance until it reaches the fill line. Do not exceed the fill line, as the ice cream will increase in volume as it freezes. Use the low setting if you want a firm ice cream and the High setting if you want a softer consistency. Do not add nuts, candy or chocolate chips at this stage as they can become hung up in the mixing paddle and stop the machine.

  • 4

Cover the center hole with the cap and allow the ice cream maker to run for 30 to 45 minutes.

  • 5

Add mix-in ingredients such as nuts and candies two minutes before shutting down the machine.

  • 6

Turn off and unplug the machine prior to removing the ice cream from the bowl. GE recommends using plastic or rubber utensils to avoid scratching the inside of the mixer bowl.

Can I change model 754 machine from three phase to single phase by just replaceing the three phase motors with single phase motors?

no you cannot. The cost to replace the dasher motor and compressor would be extreme. In addition, you would need to convert the controls from 3 phase controls over to single phase controls.

Those machines are designed for 3 phase power. If you could get the same components in a single phase version, you would spend more money economically than its worth.

Take the money you would spend converting and purchase a single phase countertop unit. They are made.

    Need replacement parts

Unfortunately, Nostalgia Electrics has stopped (AGAIN!) production of the ICM-517 and ICM 562 Soft Serve Ice Cream Makers. And the company customer service is a "bear" to get a call back from. You could go to the Helman Group, LTD website or the Nostalgia Electrics website and click on customer service and type in your request, but don't expect a quick answer. And there is an 800 # to call also, but you will only get the voice mail and leave a message. No live person, just a call back, if you're really really good and really lucky. It's a shame they have so much trouble with these, they seem to do well with the Popcorn machines, cotton candy, and drink machines, hot dogger, ect. You'd think they could debug this one too. Kindest regards, Joe.

    Motor Arm stopped working

All i can suggest is cleaning the contacts. Clean the metal prongs and the two holes they go into.

    UNPLUG THE MACHINE

Use a q-tip cotton swab dipped in hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol ... not both. After cleaning one hole wipe off any excess fluid before cleaning the other hole. These holes are a natural for catching stray drips of food or other kitchen goo.

    Good luck.
