Make sure your hard-drive is not so full so that some of the drive can be used as cache. Make sure you have enough RAM memory on your motherboard. Use spynomore or Unhackme to make sure you are virus free. If this is a slower older computer you may still have trouble. It's best to always give specs for this type of question... cpu speed, what operating system 64 bit vs 32 bit etc.

what program are you running and did you set up your keyboard with the software so it can recognize it. Depending on what software it is your using as soon as I know I can tell you how to get it working. I use my midi keyboard with everything from reason, Ableton live, pro tools logic logic express vdj traktor basically every software!
Make sure the Windows computer has the audio output selected to use the computers output hardware.
In the control panel, under "sounds and devices" pane, VOICE tab, that the Voice playback window shows your COMPUTER's audio system AND then check the volume is turned up by clicking the Volume button right under that same window. Now do the same under the AUDIO tab at the sounds and devices pane.
Make sure you have loaded the right driver for this and the operating system is allowed. Vista and later sometimes won't work unless you have compatible drivers.
and download the .tks file for your version of Traktor. Suggest you save it to the Traktor program directory.
Then within Traktor in the controller settings section, load the .tks file, save and you're good to go. Obviously you can tweak the configuration as much as you like once it's loaded. Suggest you always keep a backup of the original.
