sounds like the voltage sensor is either mis adjusted or burnt up. Also could be a wire disconnected on the voltage sensor board.

Kohler itself does not address problems, refers you to local authorized service..
Who services the product? Does the company have service centers or have contractors tranined to service their main computer board?
