You can try some other free burning software tools so that you can find another one without paying money. But most free burning software tools can only meet your basic needs. You can try Leawo DVD Creator which can offer many more burning options.

I don't know of any cd players that will record and burn albums, but I'm sure there are some out there that do that. The easiest way to record and burn an album to cd is by using your cd/dvd drive on your computer.

Recorded album and first track is cut at beginning everytime

you are going from a record(vinyl) to what before you are doing the ipod? a cd or a tape..when recording the tape..remember theres 30 seconds of plastic leader on those reels..need to forward the tape past that leader to the actual tape before the recording begins..the only other thing is that some recordings that are protected will automatically screw up your recording so as to stop copyright infringement..it may be sending a purposely blank signal for a brief period..and thats encoded into the original recording..

How can I increase the loudness of the CDs burned on the internal CD-RW drive?

You can use a free software audio editing and recording program called Audacity. Using this program load your stereo track(s) into Audacity, then look in the effects menu and select normalize. Make sure to set highest loudness level to 0 db, which is the maximum digital volume level. You can hear the difference in volume when you use the test button. If you can't still get enough over all volume level with the normalize feature then you will need to compress and limit the stereo track, but I don't suggest getting your over all loudness levels that high because it ruins and lowers the dynamics of your music. Another words when you compress and boost the over all loudness of your album then all your music is at the same highest audio level which is very ear fatiguing. It may sound better to you at first at louder volume levels but you will quickly learn to hate it over time because it does not sound natural. That is why most music today is all about loudness and ear fatigue. And because of the loudness wars going on today every Record company is trying to have the loudest album out there thinking it will sell more copies. It is all false baloney, it really should be about the quality and dynamics of your sound instead of how loud it is.

Shows unkown disc when i put in a burned dvd-r but it will play a store boughten disc what disc format is compadible with yhis unit

This model DVD player can play the following disc formats:

DVD-Video (Region 1 or relevant region coded store-bought movies)

DVD-R (must be finalised on appropriate recording equipment for compatible playback)

CD-R (for jpeg/mp3 media files)

CD-RW (for audio such as mp3)

music CD (such as store-bought albums)

This player will NOT accept DVD-RW/+RW discs, or Blu-Ray.

I hope this helps you a tiny bit.

Cant record online music. System only shows microphones not recording devices

They don't allow you to record online music. Seems like it should be easy to do, but it's because of copyright laws. The musicians/singers want to get paid. You can go to many websites and listen to the songs before you download your favorite songs for a buck a song. Pretty cheap actually when you consider you usually only find one or two good songs on an album that costs $12. Once you download it you have your own copy to burn to a CD. You can find all your favorites online. If you have songs already on CD you can copy them to your computer and make a CD of your favorites! Good luck

I am downloading photos from photo library on to CD's. Some keep coming onto next CD's repeatedly, eg, Birthdays. When I go check CD's I've completed, some are gone?

I am not sure if you are using iphoto to do your downloading but if you are not it is the best way to burn CDs. What to do is within iphoto create an album with your required photos then select the album and then go to the share menu and then burn and follow the instructions. Hope this helps.
