Curvy 8770 won't turn on

I've been using this machine all year and now all of a sudden, it won't connect to turn on. I've tried changing plugs, reconnecting it and nothing happens. Has anyone else experienced any problems like this?

I had other questions about the singer curvy,, check in the manual
to see if it has a hidden fuse.
if it doens't have a fuse, the it could be the power cord or the

SOURCE: I recently rec'd Singer Curvy

Try this, totally rethread with the presser foot up, then pull the top thread, it should move smoothly, then lower the presser foot, now pull the thread, it should barely move. This seats the thread in the tension discs.

SOURCE: Ihave a Singer Curvy 8770, needles keeping

I would call Singer because something is not in alignment if your have checked all of the suggestions that your manual gives. Without seeing it, I don't know how anyone can help because we cannot see what the needle is hitting, it is like working in a dark room. Singer's phone # 1-800-4singer, JoAnn Fabrics usually has nice people who are very helpful and I know that they sold this model at my JoAnn's because I bought one for Xmas for my granddaughter. They probably will spot the problem right away

The machine won't stitch anything...

check the feed dogs in the needle plate area to see if there up,
if you can see them & touch them with your finger, I'm putting in a link
for a free manual, so you can see where the lever is to the feed dogs, just
incase they are not up. if they are up then they may need to be checked
to see why they aren't moving the fabric.

Why will my curvy not thread the bobbin or sew?

every one is asking the same question about the machine, if you don't
have a manual I'm putting in a link for a free one

if you have the machine plugged into the wall outlet & into the machine
correctly, & it won't sew, you may have to send the machine back & get
a different kind

Singer curvy beeps 4 times and stops sewing

when you thread the machine make sure to use every thread guide
check to see if the bobbin is in correctly
try changing the needle--normally flat side goes to the back
the needle that your sewing with is it the right one for the thread & fabric
clean under the needle plate & bobbin area for lint or loose threads

I recently rec'd Singer Curvy 8770 as gift. Trying to use for first time and thread on underside of stitches is loose. Have tension on top dial as far as 9. I hve been sewing for forty+ yrs.

Try this, totally rethread with the presser foot up, then pull the top thread, it should move smoothly, then lower the presser foot, now pull the thread, it should barely move. This seats the thread in the tension discs.
