Console switches itself off

the best answer is to play online games without any headache. I have been playing all sort of car games and other stuff from so many years without  any problem.

Flashes it's lights at you then you have over heated the system. The GPU chip has probly pulled itself away from the board. This will require you to diassemble the PS3

well what how many gigs is it and some consoles have a low play rate so it would probabally need to cool down

u might be playing the ps3 tooooooo much. i play for 20 mins. it takes a half an hour for it to cool down.
