Sure, the PS3 won't run at 1080p but 720p or 1080i will be fine use component video (Green, Red, Blue, + Red and White for audio, you should have 2 of these) for these they can support 720p or 1080i and should look great. Your dvd just connect with composite video (Yellow, red and White) it is really as good as you can get from a DVD anyway. Run monitor out audio (red and white) to the surround input on the DVD/Home theater system and you should be good.

The Panasonic website should have a free PDF of it!

Look at Page 12 if your TV only has RF coaxial antenna input...

Add in the Video cable (included) if the TV has an input for it and you'll be able to manage the SA-HT800 through the TV.

Make all the other necessary selections prescribed in the manual.

hook the ps3 sound cables to the Panasonic system or get some of the splitters and hook one end to the tv and the other to the sound system, im pretty sure the tv doesn't have an out for the sound so without a couple splitters its either the tv or the sound system

hello. i was just looking over the panasonic manual for your system and it doesnt look like there is any extra inputs to hook anything up. i think from what i was looking at the home theatre system has fm radio on it right? what i do sometimes is use a wireless fm transmitter that i have and plug that into my laptop and set the radio to the station the transmitter is set to. it works ok. you can get them at radio shack and best buy and places like that. let me know if that helps

Not shure what you or asking, if how to hock this up well , it's so easy, I've never though about it.

For the bell express hook it up with av cabling to input 1,
For the dvd hock it up at input 2 with av cabling again
for the gamming system well input 3 or the front input's with it's supplyed cabling.

To watch ether or other source redecrect your ptv to soource solected to watch witch source your using, exc for satelite bring the source on your ptv to input 1 and etccc..... for the other sources, I hope this helps

Here's one solution, if you have an audio output from your tv, you can go from the audio output on your tv to the audio input on your receiver that way anything that is playing on your tv for example, playstation 3, dvd player etc. Anything playing on your tv will have audio on your onkyo home theater system. The other thing I would try if you want to hook ps3 directly to receiver is go to your connection settings on your ps3 menu and change your connection method to digital optical cable.

well u cannot hook almost any devices with the SC-HT500.
I have this homecinema system for 5 years now, and i had to buy another stand alone DivX player to hook it up, but can't get the sound in dolby from the standalone player since the panasonic SC-HT500 has only 2 analog stereo RCA ports (audio in) in the back and a scart (A/V out) and component video (Video out).
At that time it was a very good system, but since i have bought a Full HD LCD tv with 1080p capabilities, I realised that my home cinema system i.e the Panasonic SC-HT500 is kind of useless, in the sense that you cannot even change the player for another one since the whole spaker and power connections are made trhough a special cable from the subwoofer. :(
best solution is that put the system back in a corner and get a new system which is not an all-in-one system. Preferrable get home cinema systems that come with a receiver, separate dvd player and speakers and subwoofer hooked to the receiver.
you asked how to hook these devices to your tv,, well the panasonic dvd recorder is better if you connect it via HDMI cable if you can. In the other case, connecting them with a scart cable would be another solution.
