Identify cable & where to connect to get audio on HP w17e monitor

What type of cable do I need to connect to a new HP w17e monitor in order to use it to get sound?
This monitor is a replacement for one that had external speakers and will work with a desktop HP pavilion 350n.

VGA no signal means "no signal" from the computer on the VGA (blue plug) cable... ...if the computer works check the cord for loose connection or get a new cord...if the computer is hooked to the digital cable (DVI/white plug)...set the signal source on the monitor to digital...

A number of things can cause "No Signal" on a monitor

1) Check the cable between the monitor and PC is properly connected
2) If the PC has more than one display port try changing the display port the monitor is plugged into
3) Try an alternative cable between the monitor and the PC
4) Check that the correct input is selected on the monitor
