Jensen vm9311 AM/FM/CD/DVD

My Jensen vm9311 AM/FM/CD/DVD will play find when i have it on the radio but when i put a cd or dvd i have no sound. It reads the disc but doesn't give sound. When i had it in my volkswagen it work find but i just put it in my intrepid and the sound stop working! can any one help??

I have a Jensen DV2007 CD/MP3/WMA/DVD Player/Receiver and was wondering if it will play my Sony DVD-RW 3"mini disks
No they will not work as the loading mechinism would not be able to grab ahold of the discs. Normal cd/dvd's load because the mechanism grabs by the sides of the disc and the 3'" disc would be to small.

It can't read dvd disc, but if i'm using an mp3/cd its fine
Was this a burned dvd or a store bought one? Sounds like the laser that reads dvd is dirty, try to play another dvd and see what happens after cleaning.

after you put the dvd go to the setup (screw icon in the right) and go to the option where you can set up and test the speakers...click the set up you have 4.1 or 5.1 or whatever you got hit test wait until it hits your sub.....hit the back button and that should do it...

Jensen head unit VM9311TS no sound from CD
Should wire HU's Power Const to Amp's Remote On. Instead you wired HU's Power Antenna to Amp's Remote On. So the stock amp got triggered only in radio mode.

Won't read cd/dvd the unit takes the cd tries to read it and then eject's it.
You either have a bad disc or the lens on the reader assembly is dirty. You can goto Wal-Mart and buy a CD lense cleaner

you wired the remote wire up to the solid blue wire on the dvd player.....you need to put it on the blue wire with a white stripe......that should make it come on for everything....the solid blue wire is if you have motorized radio antenna. it turns it on
