SOURCE: Whirlpool duet front load washer flashes F35 shortly after start

Sud= The unit has sensed there is too many suds in the unit it will flush and pump out for 5 min and restart on its own..This is caused by too much soap use..
From the book :
SUD Code=
If too much detergent was used:
—Run the unit through a Rinse/Spin cycle.
—Run a Normal cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged
or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.

pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU).

6. Check drain pump.
7. Check the pressure switch.
8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any

SOURCE: Neptune MAH55FLBWW front load washer LR code

LR = Locked (main motor) Rotor and very likely a new motor will be needed but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt/ohm meter and the wiring diagram located within the appliance.

SOURCE: I have a Frigidaire Gallery front load washer with E10 error code

When ours does that it is because of the hard water build up. We have to un-hook the hot water clean out the minerals and it stops doing it.

SOURCE: Kenmore HE2t washer - error code 5d

5d is a definitely a the code for a plugged discharge. We removed the lower access panel and discovered a virtual treasure: $12.50 in quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies, a pen, a pencil, collar stays, 10 bobby-pins, 3 barrettes, a elastic headband, a draw string, a box cutter, 3 washers, 3 broken zipper parts, a elastic waist band. Amazing it took all to trigger a 5d error code. Hope this helps!

How can I tell whether to replace motor, motor controller or main control board on my frigidaire affinity washer ( ATF7000FS1 ) after error code E56? Test 9 gives motor winding resistance of 7.2, 7.2 and...

Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!

Based off the information from your manufacturer "E56" stands for high motor current. Looking up information for your technical data sheet it states that you need to perform test 9:

1. Remove the belt from the motor and spin the motor pulley.
Does the motor spin free? No, replace the motor. Yes, go to step (3).
2. Spin the tub pulley. Does the tub spin free? No, check the tub bearings. Yes, go to step (3).
3. Disconnect the plug from the motor and measure the resistance of the windings (pin 1 to 2, pin 1 to 3, pin 2 to 3). All readings should be between 4 and 6 ohms. If readings are correct, replace the Speed Control Board. If readings are incorrect, replace the motor.

Based off that information you would need to replace your motor. If you feel unsure about repairs I would recommend reaching out to a professional for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this helps. -Matt

What does e56 error code mean

Good afternoon friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

Typically on a Frigidaire washer an "E56" error code stands for a high motor current. Which means you could be seeing an issue with your motor or speed control board. If you are getting that error code you could be seeing a miscommunication within the appliance, I would suggest a reset to your washer would clear any false error codes. You can reset the appliance by unplugging the power cord or flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Why is my affinity dryer not heating and showing error code 56

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand your Frigidaire dryer, model# ATF7000ES, is not heating and showing an error code 56. The E56 code means there is high motor current, meaning it is possible something is going on with the motor. The other possibility is this is a false error code. Please try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

E56

Hi Susan, this is JK. I understand that you are receiving an error E56 on your washer. This error E56 is indicating a high motor current, the motor has overheated. The washer motor will stop when it is overheated, allow the motor to cool down and attempt to wash again. If the problem persists, you would need to contact a service provider to test the motor, motor pulley, tub pulley and the bearings. Hope this helps!

Washer would not drain or spin (frigidaire aft6000sf1) error code E56

Hello - Typically, error code E56 commonly refers to a motor issue. It indicates that either the motor has overheated and/or will not drain/spin. Try reprogramming the washer by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately 30 minutes for the washer to cool down and turn the unit back on. If error code persists, I personally suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the issue at hand.

Affinity washer displays ERR. PAU and 56

I fixed this myself and it only took about 5 minutes. The problem is the door latch needs to be reset, which requires unplugging it's three electrical connections. This has to be done inside the washer outer seal, but it is easy to get to. First remove the outer ring that holds the seal on. Next remove only the side of the seal closest to the door latch (again only the outer seal needs to be undone). With this done remove the two screws holding the door latch in place (inside). Remove the latch, unplug the three connectors, plug them back in then reassemble everything. When all is back in place hit "cancel" and it should be good to go.
