Need to know how to delete all files from from firelite
You could try data rewriting software to erase your data, like AOMEI Partition Assistant Erase hard drive feature: http://www.extend-partition.com/help/wipe-data.html first you need to connect this disk on your computer and then download the free version of Partition Assistant to use.
SOURCE: Firelite Hard drive read as "local disk"
1)Run CHKDSK ON that disc
2)Run antivirus to scan disc

Try to get the drive detected on a different computer and if it does the same then try to connect to a mac computer it will be detected then make a backup of the data and reformat the drive. it will be fine, this is a very common issue with flashdrives and external hdd.
try and let me know.
second solution is run a scandisk on this drive letter detected by windows then try doing the same step said above.

It won't show up on your desktop automatically.
Go to Start > Computer and you should see it listed under Devices with Removable Storage.
You can create a shortcut there for your desktop.
Using Wndows Explorer, you can copy and paste the files you want to back up from your C: drive to your Firelite.
check your recycle bin the files might still be in there you can restore them if they are or you could try using one of these file eraser undelete programs

Free File Recovery is a small and easy to use application that will help you to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted from your iPod, or by bugs, crashes and viruses!

FreeUndelete restores deleted files, including those removed from Windows Recycle Bin. In case of accidental removal of files on a NTFS (1.0 and 2.0) (default for Windows Vista , XP, 2000 and NT), FAT32, FAT16 or FAT12 file systems this is the utility to help.
Supported file systems:
NTFS 1.0, NTFS 2.0, FAT12, FAT16 and FAT32
The recovered files are saved into a new user-selected location to prevent overwriting the deleted files on the original media.
