You have to enter its service mode to make a reset. There are two ways to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). Your problem is with the tv tuner. Use a vcr tuner connected to your antenna, connect vcr to tv set video input and you have a working tv for normal reception.

the unity has small switch for service, try to pass normal operation. Otherwise you must open the tv and see the switch for faulty or dirty try to clean with contacts cleaner solvent
