How do I get the timer light to stop and turn the tv on?

My rest button keeps flashing and i cannot turn on the tv or use the menu to rest. i tried to reset by pushing the button but nothing reset the timer light?
GREEN LIGHT STILL FLASHING. RESET HAS NO AFFECT. UNPLUGGING AND PLUGGING IT BACK IN DOESN'T WORK EITHER. I HAVE SOUND, BUT NO PICTURE.

I did what you told me, plugged the tv back on, and the timer blinker is still going.....
My WS55513 has 5 years old. Been unpluged the last 6 months. Power on light blinks for 1/2 hr then goes off. It will not reset, nor can i power on the tv.

Found circuit breaker popped. HDTV1080 timer button flashing. won't reset. Tried unplugging it & holding the power button for 60 seconds then plugging back in after 5 minutes. Nothing changed - still flashing timer button
Same thing. Our power went out for 3 hours yesterday, and now my TV will not turn back on. The timer button is just flashing. Unplugging it doesn't work and neither does reset. This has happened to me before but then a few hours later the timer button stops flashing and I am able to turn the power on, but this time the timer button is not going off. It's been 15 hours.

Unplug the TV, hold down the power button for 60 seconds.
Leave it unplugged for 5 minutes.
Plug it in and try it. Let me know what lights flash.
