It sounds like you need a new battery (this is what the beeping is) even though its only a year old the battery needs replaced!

Here is what the B&D website says.
"If the unit starts to beep continuously, let it beep for about 1 minute, then turn the unit off and unplug the charger from the unit. Allow the unit to sit a full minute and then repeat the charging process.
If you still experience difficulties with the unit beeping after about ten attempts to charge, we recommend bringing the unit back to the retailer for an exchange, or taking the unit to the nearest factory-owned service center for assistance. "

Apparently, the chip needs reset. It didn't work for me though.

Battery failure

I know this is almost a year old, but why can't you access the batteries? How have you been using the headphones without either recharging or simple using regular batteries? The batteries that came with the unit are not proprietary and any pair of AA batteries will work. I haven't used the Sony batteries that came with the headphone for years, won't recharge anymore. I have been using Sanyo eneloop AA rechargeable batteries ever since and keep a fresh pair of batteries recharged at all times. And it seems like they go on for ever, but the time between replacing the batteries is about once a month.

Nikon camera battery keeps losing charge

If the rechargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

Nokia phone not recharging

Technically, It would be an old battery issue, or the charger itself, try using another charger, if the problem still occurs, maybe it's the battery or your's phone's charger jack had a hardware issue.

When i press the power button, the blue light comes on, it beeps, lens pops out but retracts immediately. camera turns off

Have you checked your batteries? If it's an old camera (keep in mind that it's not less than 3 years old) and you still use the original rechargeable batteries, they may need to be replaced as well.  Those rechargeable do not last for ever in a certain way. Go to a specialised photo shop and ask for your model. Hope that helps.

the 3 beeping sound as ou call it annoying means that the camera has low battery capacity. the lens is stuck out because there is incorrect battery connection. there is an option on the camera setting for the battery type. try this one:
-turn the camera on
-click on Menu button
-select options using left/right, up/down button
-select Set up 2
-Select Battery type
-Select Alkaline for non-rechargable
or Ni-MH for rechargable
-click OK button

this setting should be done when using camera for the first time and whenever you are switching battery types, from rechargable to non-rechargable and vice versa.
