SOURCE: Stoves 900G gas oven stopped working

A lot of times the problem is with a dirty or a clogged burner. Make sure the burner is clean.
If you have a pilotless model, it uses a spark igniter to ignite the gas, which works in a combination with a spark switch (located on the burner gas valve) and a spark module. Because it is not simple to test these parts and find out which one is defective, we recommend to contact a professional appliance technician.

SOURCE: I have a stoves 720ef anf for no obvious reason the clock resets to 23.59 and the oven turns off, can you suggest anything

You obviously have a power loss somewhere. The oven will not work unless a time is set on the clock. I would suggest you have problem with the feed to the cooker which an electician should be able to check it out. If anything else is wrong on the cooker, it shouldn't reset the clock.

I have a Stoves 900G that we I turn the oven on it trips out the fuse box..any suggestions apart from calling out a repair man

Nope - you have a severe short that immediately triggers the breaker. If you have access to the wiring you might try moving all of it away from metal and each other. Some insulation could have come off and ............Since it only happens when you turn on the oven the problem has to be with the oven wiring and parts.

If moving the wiring around and not locating any abnormalities does not resolve the issue then..............................

Oven won't turn on because someone played with timer

Try turning the mains supply off and it will probably reset everything.

Hi. I think I've had a power cut and my Stoves oven (about 10 years old) Is not working. The clock is flashing and the main oven won't switch on. I'm sure this has happened before but can't...

The clock is on auto because of power cut, you need to reset it to manual to enable the oven to work as normal. Refer to your user instructions.

Reset clock and oven light came on flashing

THERE IS A PROBLE WITH THE ERC (CLOCK) NOT TO SURE IF I WOULD USE IT EITHER. THE PART IS EASY TO CHANGE JUST TURN POWER OFF AT THE BREAKER FIRST. YOU CAN FIND THIS PART HERE.

Oven won't work beacuse of the timer on the stove.

It depends on the make and model and wether it is a digital clock.

But generally if you press/turn the larger knob this will reset the clock and return the oven to manual cooking .

My GE Oven heating element and timer clock went

Try unplugging the oven and let sit for 10 min. This will reset the curcuit board and reboot the electronics. You may have to pull out the stove o get to the cord.
