I am unable to get contacts from my Katana LX cell phone as the phone slot for an electric charge is broken. What can I do with the SIM card on the same phone?

Hi Dear..

If the Charging slot is broken the you should buy the one alternate charger china made charger in that charge direct you charge you battery, after charge the batter plug-in and transfer all contact in your sim card. after that your Sim card in you other mobile you can find your all contact.

Unfortunately it will not work. TMobile uses GSM technology while Sprint is on CDMA.

SOURCE: Sim Card on my Katana 2 phone

If both your phones are locked to Sprint as your service provider, no problem, just transfer the sim card from one phone to the other.

SOURCE: why cant the new sanyo scp-2700 sim card be put

Because new SIM cards working at lower power (1.8V) meanwhile Sanyo Katana is older model thus support old SIM cards (3.5V).

Can a broken **** phone be repaired?

It depends on how it was broken. If only the case is damaged, most shopping centerkiosks have replacement shells - if any of the internal circuit boards are damaged, you will want to send the unit in for replacement. If the warranty is up, you're looking at a new phone. The cost of electronics repair is often more than the device itself.

How do I get my contacts off My Kitana if the phone wont power up? I am unsure of why it quit working. (Yes I tried charging it) and I received a replacement Kitana today.

without power, you cannot retrieve the contacts. I assume it's sprint or a cdma carrier that does not use sim card. If for some reason you have a sim, then they might already be on it.

My katana lx wont charge. It took awhile to connect and charge last time, but now nothing.

I am going to assume that when you say it took you a while to get it to charge last time, you had to wiggle the charger around and then get it in just the right spot to get the phone to charge, if this is the case there are only 2 solutions try another charger if that works you just have a bad charger, if that fails than something in the port on the phone is bent loose or broken and it will need to be repaired in your providers repair center, if u have insurance u might need to file a claim.

I need to download the draivers

There are no drivers for this phone. Anything you want to send back and forth has to be done via email or mms. the fancy data cable they sell does nothing more than charge you phone from your computer. You can read more about it here:

Iforgot the lock code i made up to accses my phone how do i get in my sanyo katana lx without erasing memory

Your cell phone provider can unlock your phone for you without losing anything you have on it. They can also help you set up a code that is easy for you to remember. Normally they do this for free.

I hope this helps. =)
