I forgot the parental controls password for my Proscan 42LA45H?

the lg code 10056 really worked. I found a code that worked before but the turn off the tv and driectv botton would not work, but the lg code is good. bye the way the proscan remotes ****. you have to be right in front of the tv to use it, but not with directv or an other remote

Actually it was an error due to my satellite remote and not the tv itself. The format button on the remote was accidently changed.

I called my satellite provider, Dish Network, which proceeded to talk me thru the correction.
