Kenmore Gas Extra Capacity heats only on timer, not Fabric Master.

My Kenmore Extra Capacity Gas Front load Dryer heats fine on timer, but no heat when on the "Fabric Master" setting, which is as you probably know, the auto shut off at adjustable clothing dampness.
Sorry I do not have model #, I am working and my wife is home and cannot find the #'s. I assume it must have a moisture sensor which may have failed, kind of hopeing that there is seperate fuses for this fabricMaster setting, any idea's?
Thanks.

Get some windex and clean the sensor strip located behind the filter ousing similar to this picture. Their might be something on it that is interfering with its moisture sensing ability. Check out my youtube channel about section for a link to a free dervice manual for you model. Thanks

SOURCE: No heat in kenmore 97273100 72731 front load gas cloths dryer

check the ignitor under the door panel on the left side of the burner if it gets red when you turn the dryer on.if yes than see if gas shoots out and yes than how long it stays on if in few minutes it turns off than need thermal fuse checked so let me know up to this point if it works or not .

Kenmore HE4T Gas Dryer not heating

It can be tested using a mulitmeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. If it has no continuity, then it is defective. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Check the thermal fuse on the blower housing. It is for over heat condition and non resettable.

Dryer timer is not working and won't heat but runs fine

check the ignitor. That's a very common cause for no heat in a gas dryer. other possibilities are the coils, or it could be that you have a bad fuse in the dryer.
