The sound on the device is too low!

I need to know how to make my system be able to reach the ideal volume when playing DVD's. The radio sound is loud enough but when I change to DVD the sound is almost nonexistent. Please help me reset it or to adjust the volume so I don't have to set it to the MAX volume to be able to hear it.

Often it is to do with the kind of sound that is being outputted by the DVD player. If the sound for example is set to produce dolby 5.1 and you don't have a suitable decoder it will be very low.
Check the sound settings of both your DVD player and sound system.

Low volume on radio, I replaced the amplifier with an used one, but the problem still present. All channels are Ok.

When you tried play a cd and you got low volume with amp, 1. Try find a original cd and plays it see if the sound loud or low if it's still low you need lenses disc cleaner, to clean your decks lense.

You need to plug the audio from both devices into a audio mixer, you buy an inexpensive mixer from Radio Shack, or maybe Best Buy, or etc. This is the only way you can get both into your amp at the same time and control the volume of each

Bose 312 Sound Cuts in and out

Most amplifiers design to cut out when there is an overload, such as playing the music too loud. It helps protect the device from being damaged. If the device does it at low volume, and does it sometimes, check the wring to the speaker, something might be shorting it out intermitently.

Audiovox VD1400HT Home Theatre System. Volume of radio too loud. If Radio is set at 7 it is very loud, but a DVD requires at least 25 before you can hear it.

that is normal. different sources have different output levels.. increase volume at dvd player will also increase volume of you home theater..

Volume Problem with my TV and Home Theater system

I had the same problem with mine.The solution I found was to use an optical audio cable rather than the red and white RCA audio jacks. Hope this helped.
