Cant get the demo mode off my lowrance elite 5 dsi

Go to menu click on system find simulator mode click off

OK, so, Robbie Johnson's answer doesn't work. Simulator mode is NOT the same as demo mode. After messing around with this for quite a while, the only way I could find to get out of the demo mode is to reset the default settings. When you do that, a two prompts show up. They're kind of stacked on top of each other. One of the prompts says, "enter demo mode", it's covered by another prompt, and, for some unknown reason, the default answer is " YES". So... The solution seems to be to reset defaults and pay close attention to those prompts so you can choose NOT to enter demo mode.

Sorry I can't be more specific but the unit was actually my uncle's and I don't have access to it anymore.
