The screen has started flashing black when I compose text and it will turn upside down with another application flashing the right way round.This has progressed not just to texting but with anything I try to do. I was advised to do a soft boot by nokia but I still have the problem and now find that I have to go to contacts to find the person I want to send to, as if I type their name it is stuck in numerical only.I have had the phone for 19 months from brand new. Please advise.

N95 Memory Full Problem can not be resolve by simply restarting or by changing the network setting. You must "Manual Reset" it. Just Turn Off the Phone, Press the *, Call Button, Three and ask another Person to turn on your N95 by pressing the power button. Stay pressing the Three Buttons until the phone fully boot up and ask you to enter Date and Time. After that, youre phone will go back to Factory Setting.

Yes I can help! You need to clear some memory. Delete all of your messages. Delete some pictures or videos, delete some wallpaper, etc. and your problem will go away.

try entering the (+) plus sign and the country code then the mobile number / editing the numbers of your contacts. such as, a mobile number alone (depending on the sim) that reads as 09178943874 must be edited as +639178943874 (noting that +63 is the country code).

yea easy bro, turn off your phone, and remove the battery for 5 minutes. Then hold the 3, * and green keys as you boot up your phone until you see that country selection menu. This is the "hard reset" please note that you will lose all data using this and a back up of important data is necessary before proceeding
Then, with one finger.. touch the screen at the top of the phone and move finger down the screen (while still touching the screen).. you should see the notification area.. under the settings of that area it will show what is alerting you:
