Replace emergency stop switch is flashing but it is connected, how do I fix this?

Please Help,I have just bought a used treadmill life fitness T3, and i have jut put it on but in the top its saying Replace the emergency stop switch, i don't know what it means as this is the first time i bought one :(

More then likely they had the battery disconnected and need to re-flash the Transmission computer.

Yes, it is likely that it is the switch directly underneath the magnet - it may be possible to bypass it, but not a good idea. You can order a switch direct from Woodway 1800WOODWAY

Sounds like it's a problem in the turn signal switch. Are you sure you used the right bulbs when replacing them?

First check the emergency stop switch contacts. I usually remove them attach a fluke meter lead to each side of the contact and shake it. if reading is steady contact is good . if reading is up, down etc contact is bad. replace if bad. You need to check both sets of contacts on the emergency stop switch. You may also have a controller going bad which means you will need to replace it.

You most likely need a new blinker switch - the emergency flasher is also most likely bad - there is one flasher for turn signals - and one for the emergency lights --
Replacing a blinker switch is best left to the pros --
also - Take down the Vin # and call the local dealer - - ask about recalls and Service bulletins.

Yes it is an easy fix. more than likely it is your flasher.

replace flasher, or switch with emergency flasher to test.. Should be in with fuses or in that area.

i can tell u this the multifuncion switch is in the steering colum signals,highbeam flash to pass and wipers chuck
