the manual shows only 3 and 4 digit error codes
the error may be everheating or by dust build up inside, clean it?
e13 on some of their printers is ink out or low.
to a on printer test page at the printer not PC>?

Damage canon printers, can be identified from the number of lights blinking in orange. So, you calculate, how many times the orange light is blinking. Example E2, E3, E4, E5, E8, E9, E13, E14, E15, etc.



Problem
For the error code E13 = The following ink may have run out black/color
Solution
Press and hold the Reset button about 10 second. E13 error on canon pixma, occurs twice. E13 for black cartridges, and E13 for the color cartridges

Normally, maintenace kit A and B are replaced at 150K copies. However, you can keep on truckin! Eventually the copy quality (blk lines, dirty copies) will degrade. Also, you might get fuser issues (error codes, jamming).

The E codes E1-E7 are displayed in the copy counter.To display both digits of the E code press the ENTER key.When the machine detect E13 condition E1 is displayed in the copy counter.Hold down the enter key and 13 is displayed.
E 11 - Exposure lamp error.In this case check the exposure lamp continuity,the thermofuse is open or power suplly board defective.
E 12 -Exposure lamp error .AC drive defective,main board defective
E 13 - Zero cross signal error.Main control or DC power board defective.
To clear the service code turn OFF/ON the machine.

Owners manual states "Turn the power off, and then on. If the message appears again, contact your sales or service representative"
