Dregs drawer light on my Saeco Incanto Classic is flashing even though the dregs drawer is empty; at other times the coffee bean container light is 'steadily lit' although there are coffee beans in the container. In this instance the beans are ground and then discharged (unused) into the dregs container. It's such a waste of coffee beans and it drives me mad.

I found a machine in my dentist's office with this exact same problem. I'm not familiar with the model, so I downloaded a manual for the closest model I could find online (the Sirius), and it offered no help -- but in 8 languages!
I ended up just pulling the drip tray, pulling the box where the grounds end up, and re-inserting the assembly (all while the machine was on.) When I buttoned it up again, it worked.
Hope this helps (although I can see how it might not...)

Hi,
First, make sure you not get any damp into your grinder.
If you get damp into the grinder then it will not grind the beans.
To check the grinder you have to loosen the three screws in the beanhopper and lift it up.
The jagged plastic in the machine you will see when the beanhopper is off, turn it anticlockwise to you can see
the claque is free, then you can take out the jagged plastic and you will see the grinding wheel, make sure the wheel and the jagged plastic is clean.
Before you mount all again, use a vacuum cleaner to clean it.
Put back the jagged plastic again and turn it clockwise to it stop, then you turn it anti clockwise 14"click".
Set the number to 8 on the beanhopper and mount it again.
Hope this will help you.
Best regards
/Mirran
SOURCE: Removing Saeco coffeemaker dregs container
The dregs container comes out with the drip tray. Lift up on the drip tray and slide it out. If this doesn't work then the brew group is out of position. Turn the machine off then on so that the machine goes through a self test. This will reposition the group allowing removal of the dregs container.

I have had the same problem the only way I could get it to brew would to use the program quantity feature every time. I was going to take it in today and decided to restore the factory settings and now its working like it should. This seems to be a circuit board issue Ouch! I have another issue with the steam, if I take the knob off it works if I don't it doesn't glad I bought a 2K model GRRRRR!

Hi
Grounds and water under the machine or drip tray indicate that the drain behind the brew unit is plugged.
Remove the brew unit. You will see the injector in the back of the machine. Below the injector is a pocket that the excess pressure is relieved into when the machine is done making a coffee. This pocket will plug up with ground and oils. The drain is just above the center of the drip tray. Insert something into the drain and see if you can unplug it. Once it has drained run some hot soapy water through the pocket.
