I can reset my password lenovo t410 pls try to help me

I do google your problem and look to the lenovo G500 manual.

BIOS password problems I forgot my password. • If you forget your user password, you must ask the system administrator to reset your user password. • If you forget your HDD password, a Lenovo authorized servicer cannot reset your password or recover data from the hard disk. You must take your computer to a Lenovo authorized servicer or a marketing representative to have the hard disk drive replaced. Proof of purchase is required, and a fee will be charged for parts and service. • If you forget your administrator password, a Lenovo authorized servicer cannot reset your password. You must take your computer to a Lenovo authorized servicer or a marketing representative to have the system board replaced. Proof of purchase is required, and a fee will be charged for parts and service.


But in my own way of troubleshooting.
1. open your Lenovo G500
2. Check your motherboard and look for bios/cmos battery.
3. Remove the battery
4. Get flat screw driver then put it between two pins where the cmos battery attached.
5. Hold it for 10 to 15 sec.
6. Put the cmos battery back and the motherboard
7. Power it up and holla the bios setting has been reset to default.

go to bios and chk the bios configurations , in there u may find the bios password changes. if u don't know the bios password try to remove bios battery and fix it there . then ur bios password will erases.

restar the computer HOLD the keYS CTRL +f2 or esc depend of your model +mark, and go 1)to restore factory default and ready or 2) change the password in the section indicted and fix it.

if it is a newer model computer, 1 to 2.5 years old,there is an option in your Control panel setting to allow you to do that easily. or u tuibe may have a video of step by step to change the setting back

reinstall the driver and check if it works

It's better if you call lenovo customer care and ask them to get it repaired.

select an account and check 'is password empty' check box
IT WILL clear the PASSWORD for that account

Well if the bios is not password protected or u know the password there should be an option to disable in the bios.

for removing the BIOS passowrd we have to reseat the password jumpher which is there on the motherboard.try to search for the location of the pw jumpher on the motherboard online if you can or you can ask your service provider who will be able to locate the pw jumpher for you.
