It wont turn on and when i put it on charge it still dose nothin but the red light on the back flashes
1.Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2.If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3.If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
•The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears
•Release the power button but *continue holding the home button*, for another 30 seconds.

Hi mate i had same problem this morning, i was gutted cos i got mine off ebay, so have no guarantee, however i went to se site and updated the softwear, even that there was no update, it re-installed the softwear and wala its working fine, am i ha happy bunny. Hope it works for you? Meurig

this is a software glitch
same thing happened to me
you must update your software with latest sony drivers for w995
go to sony ericcson update service

That only means that you got battery problem of your phone. Replace the phone battery with a new one. If your old sony ericson phone battery can be fit to your w995 then you can try to use it.

The good news is it s not phone problem so you can be relaxed.
This is because of the chager wire at the join got damaged.you have to replace it.there is no other go...charges cost very less....Actually you should not roll you charger wire...It will get charged only when you hold in a position.In other position it will not charge....For time being you can bend the wire in direction in which it gets charged..keep some note book over it while it gets charged.....But you have replace it soon..
