Havoc heli will not charge

Green lite will not come on when charger plugged in

We have the same problem with one of ours. The charger is working because it will charge our other havoc heli. The plug goes in and the prongs appear straight, but it will not charge and the green light will not turn on.
    HELP!!

As far as the green light on the charger not coming on: after I tested the batteries in the remote, I found that it was due to 2 of the 6 batteries in the remote control being dead (0.1volts) The charger probably sucks the power out of the #1 and #6 battery.

Make sure all batteries in the Remote have the same charge.

Also, there seems to be a loose contact in the charger plug prongs. You will have to find a way to sit the helicopter so that it stays in contact with the prongs while charging. Mine has to be on it's side to keep the green charger light on.

Good luck!

My solution to an Air Hog Sharpshooter charging problem is linked below. I would venture that the internals of the havoc are very similar...

1.Take out charging wires. 2.turn off your heli and insert charging socket into your heli's socket. 3.the charging green light will light up while charging. 4.charging complete, the green light will turn off. 5.pull out the wires and you are ready to fly. Let the heli's battery cool down for approx. 15 minutes before charging.

Mine will not charge everytime it goes for like 10 seconds

Hello. I recommend that you clean all of the contacts and the ends of the batteries using the eraser end of a common pencil. Now charge it and see if it takes a charge. If it does not, then the problem is either that the batteries are shot and need to be replaced, or the charger is bad. Regards, Joe

My Havoc Heli got wet

Most likely you short circuited something and now it can't be fixed. I would send it back to the company to be replaced.
