Can't change the decimal symbol on my Kensington 33006PocketKeyPa

I've been using a Kensington Pocket KeyPad 33006 and cannot configure/change the type of symbol it uses for comma or dot. I live in Chile, here we use the comma as decimals indicator and dot for separating each thousands, so i would like, for example that when i use Excel and type numbers, the dot key in the keyboard displays a comma in the box where i'm writting. Thanks! C

After installing a new battery on Kensington Model 33059 keypad. Now I can't turn it off nor will it communicate with my MacBook? What is the problem and solution?

Go to Apple menu, select System Preferences. From the View Menu, select Universal Access. Click the Mouse tab, and turn off "Mouse Keys".
If it is already turned off, turn on, wait a moment, then turn off. If this does not fix the problem, it may not be Apple compliant. After researching the manufacturer's website I can only confirm this keypad is PC-compatible. Not that it shouldn't be cross-compatible, but some manufacturers are more cross-friendly than others.

Lost driver for my kensington pocket mouse model

Hi mdriskell,

I'm not sure if this will work for you but go to this site: http://us.kensington.com/html/1466.html#mw611 There is a download of "Kensington MouseWorks™ Software Version 6.11" which might be what you need to make your mouse work. If this does not work, I'll see what else I can find for you. According to the site, it does work with Windows Me. Just out of curiosity, why are you still using WinMe?

Good luck,

I need to reset the software on my Symbol PPT8846 Pocket PC so I can access the internet. I purchased it second hand and it has the original companies software.

To 'Reflash' a mobile device, you will need to do the following:
1. Go to the symbol website ( www.symbol.com )
2. Go to 'Support and Resources' and select 'Software Downloads'
3. Select 'Mobile Computers' as the 'Product Line'
4. Select 'PPT8800CE' or 'PPT8800WM' (dependent on your OS)
5. Try to locate a 'Device Configuration Package' which is used to 'Reflash'
the mobile device and bring the 'OS', 'Applications' etc.. bang upto date (In
other words a total reload of the unit just like 'format c:')

Number lock ker

Sorry to bear the bad news, but I've just talked w/ Apple Care b/c I needed to access the asterisk in the extended keypad for an After Effects marker command. Like you, I have a MacBookPro and was trying to access it with the numbers lock, but lo and behold it's been taken out of new MacBookPro's!! They said users need to get a USB kensington pocket keypad and calculator !! Not what I wanted to hear!

Ten zeros when you start

Hello,
The Fix sign on the top of the screen (smaller size) are indicators that calculator is using the FIXed format: All numbers are displayed with a fixed number of decimal digits (in you case it may have been set to 9 decimal digits). You can change that in the setup.
The Grad symbol means that the angle unit is set to grad. This too can be changed to degrees or radians in the set up.
A sure way to achieve mastery of calculator use is to learn how to configure it to fit the types of calculations to be performed.

Hope it helps.
