SOURCE: pairing tomtom go720 with blackberry 8703

On your Blackberry (BB), make sure you have set your blue-tooth properties to show Yes for "Discoverable", then go through the TomTom (TT) to find a phone. Trying to find the TT with the BB will not work.

Once the TT finds the BB, the BB will ask for a code - enter 0000. Once the TT is successfully added to your BB device list, highlight the TT and check device properties - set to trusted.

This should get you there.

SOURCE: What is the passcode to pair a telus cell phone with Tomtom Go630

default password for pairing any phone with tomtom go 630 is 0000. some phones require you type the password and some do not.

Testimonial: "Our cell phone was not on the compatible list and so had to be set up manually. There were some issues doing that as well. Thanks all for your input!"

SOURCE: i have paired my blackberry with my tomtom go 930 ...

I detest cell phones, but here's how I got my wife's BB8100 and BB8800 to connect to my GO930:
1) Press the button with 7 dots in a circular pattern (Menu?);
2) Click "Options";
3) Click "Bluetooth";
4) Click "TomTom GO 930" (yours may differ);
5) Click "Full Menu";
6) Click "Options";
7) Change "Discoverable" to "Yes";
8) Press the button with the curved arrow (Return?);
9) Click "Save";
10) Click the curved-arrow button until the menus are gone.
The TomTom should now be able to connect to the BB.

Had to do something similar on the iPhone 4 before it could connect (haven't found a "Trust" option yet).

What is the bluetooth passkey code?

When you are pairing your TOMTOM with a BlueTooth-enabled cellular phone, your TomTom will ask you to enter "0000" when the phone asks for a pin. In order not to have to enter the pass code every time you want to connect to the phone, declare the TomTom as a trusted device.
When you are pairing the two make sure that the phone is "visible for xxxx minutes" or "always visible".

Phone compatability

Theoretically any Bluetooth-enabled phone will work with your device. However, there are certain phones by different manufacturers known to have issues pairing with the TomTom. The BEST way around this is to take your GO 730 into the store with you, and actually test it out prior to purchasing it to make sure it will pair correctly.
