Tablets wont boot up just shows arnova on screen and shuts down

If you tried sliding the lock icon and it doesnt move in any direction, chances are that the tablet is frozen. In that case, hold the on/off button for about 5 secs or until the tablet turns off (it will vibrate as it turns off, this is different than just pressing the on/off button) or offers you an option to shut it down. Wait a couple of secs, the tablet will show the booting screen and then allow you to work with it, not just showing you the lock as soon as you turn it on. If it shows you the lock without the booting screen shown first, this means that you didn't really turn it off properly. Try holding the on/off button longer!!

Power the tablet back up by holding down the volume (either + or - ) and power buttons simultaneously. Continue holding the volume button until the screen says "Booting tablet in recovery mode." This will give you a picture of an Android. Tap the android, and you will be given a screen with several options. Move between the options with the + and -, and select with the power button.

select Reboot Tablet Normally.

Try a factory reset.

i had same problem with my gadget,i replaced the battery.and have it checked to make sure no reformattingg needed

i have same problem here and i didn't find any solution yet still search and wait ..

make sure the tablet is off, then push and hold the reset button(small hole on same side as power button), while holding the reset down push and hold the power button. continue holding both buttons until you see the "Arnova" flash screen, then release the two buttons. this should put you in recovery/download mode... it is not touch enabled though, and there are no physical buttons on the tablet, so you will most likely need the Rockchip flashing tool. To hard reset a tablet, hold the power button down until it shuts off then press it to turn back on. Should take about 5 - 10 seconds for the device to power off.

sounds like your explorer is not working properly like its been hacked or got a virus where you jave visited a web site and not paid or something or bought their antivirus and now its shut you down so its a complete re-boot to clear the high key registry
