I heard that the new iPhone 5 does not include the Google Maps application, but instead uses Apple's new version? Is this correct?

Yes it is. Apple decided to replace one of its most useful applications, Google Maps with its own version, Apple Maps. Compared to Google Maps, Apple maps display much less information like certain street names, street directions, and subway stops. Moreover, Apple Maps does not have the street view feature that Google Maps has. It should be noted that Apple Maps is a brand new application and will certainly change for the better in time.

Hi there, I have a 2017 Porsche Macan with factory installed Carplay and an iphone 7 plus. For the past few months, the Apple Maps and now the Google Maps are not showing my proper location.

You likely updated your iPhone to iOS 12 recently, which is when the problem started. My research indicates that a newer version of Google maps that supports iOS 12 and Carplay was released which you may not have. Delete the Google maps app on your phone. Then go to the App store and install it again. Now connect to your vehicle and see if the problem is solved.

WHEN I TRY TO SEE RECENT CALL HISTORY THE I PHONE 3 GS REVERTS TO THE HOME SCREEN. IS THERE ANY WAY OF RESOLVING THIS?

hello, ensure you are not clicking on the key wrongly,i would advice you put the phone off and on back to see if the problem stops.if it doesn't i would also advice you ensure you close any application you are not making use of.it could also be as a result of accumulated opening of applications. if that does not stop the problem,i would suggest you get the phone flashed by a mobile phone authorized repair engineer around you.
wish you good luck,
take care.

Disabled iphone and no itunes

A disabled iPhone means it has yet to be synced to a computer. Currently, there is no other option but to download iTunes (yeah, Apple won't budge on this until iOS 5) but the good news about this is that it's free, whether you're using mac or PC!

1. go to http://apple.com and click on the iTunes tab.
2. It will automatically detect which OS you're using and offer you a download link.
3. Download iTunes, wait for it to complete and do your install. It's best if you install it on your main HD.
4. Connect the iPhone via the USB that is included on the phone. It will automatically detect your phone and start unlocking it to the official carrier of your sim card.
5. Make sure you're connected to the internet for this since iTunes needs to transmit data and fetch the latest iOS version that fits your iPhone.
6. The process usually takes 20 minutes (30 tops if you have to configure applications, music, photos, etc)
