My keys are locked in my car, how do i get in without breaking anything?

try using a scanner to reset the CPU and immobiliser program.

it could be like my truck. try putting your wieght into the door and try unlocking it with the key while doing that. just dont force it and break the key off inside the lock

use peice of wire to hit power lock button.... or power window down

I had a similar problem, So I finally just quit locking the car. As long as I didn't leave anything of value in plain sight, I thought, what's the point of locking the doors. If a thief wants to get in your car, a locked door isn't going to stop him. He'll just break a window and get in anyway. So, I figure at least I wont have to replace a broken window if I just leave the doors unlocked. Plus, on most modern cars, if a thief tries to circumvent the ignition system to steal the car, the antitheft feature built into the car's computer will disable the engine so it won't start.

You must turn the car on after alarm goes off. Door locking and unlocking dont work after the alarm goes off. Its like you break a window to get in anyone can lock or unlock a door thats why its tied to the ignition.

The door key should lock/unlock your t-tops... Those aren't the original tops to your car though -- the previous owner must have bought them as replacements, and for whatever reason didn't pass the key along.

(So in your case/situation, the answer is Yes, there's a third key ;-> )

It is possible to have locksmiths or dealerships cut you new door keys, but you'll need the VIN from the original car (probably not gonna happen.) I were you, I'd consult a reputable locksmith and have them just drill the locks out for you. The reason I suggest this, is that if the T-top locks are built anything like the door locks, it's possible to drill it in a fashion that doesn't totally obliterate the mechanism (it just breaks it enough so that you can use any other key (or screwdriver, etc) to work the lock :)

ok get in the car, close the door, make sure all doors are closed.... put the key in the ignition, turn the key to on but without starting the car (lights on dash light up only) press and release the key lock button, turn key to off, without removeing the key.. turn to on without starting the car (dash lights up only) press and release the key lock button again, turn the ignition off, without removeing the key then turn back on (lights on dash on only without starting the car, press and release the key lock button , turn off the ignition without removeing the key, ..turn on the ignition once more without starting the car , press and release the key lock button and u should hear the door lock cycle ....leave the key in the ignition ... now press the lock button or unlock button on the other remotes one at a time if u have them.....u should hear the lock cycle indicateing all remotes are programmed.... kind of tricky to explain but you will get it, the sequence of turnin the key in the ignition on and off is only done with that one first key,,, remember after the door lock cyles press the lock or unlock button on the other remote fobs if if any...and ur done..may take u a few trys.. let me know how it worked out.

I have an A4 and did this to re-program my key:

1. used the key to start the car...then turned it off
2. put the key in the driver door (door closed)
3. pressed the lock button on the key fob once
4. turned the key to lock the door.

This is basically the steps in the owners manual, but the car must be started with the key first, and the key must be in the door lock before pressing the lock button.

need to program key fob to car and program windows...see owners manuel... if cant find ..i can help
