This is a very simple solution for those who are facing this error
"This Battery Cannot Be Used, Choose A Battery Designated For Use In This Camera"
Mostly this error occurs in Nikon cameras. I found out the very simple and easy solution to fix it.
All you have to do is just clean your battery terminals, or take a needle and narrow them so they can contact
your camera directly. this mostly happens when one or more of the terminals are not touching in the camera,
please watch this video and leave a comment regarding to this problem, i hope this will solve your problem.

yep ...look in the menu ...of the camera ..and select the type of battery u are using ..there are 2 kinds of batteries ...one of them are alkaline ...and the other I'm not sure ..probably nickel or lithium ..or something like that ...anyway there are choices there ..and you just have to try 'am one by one ...
it will also accept only high quality non chargeable ones ...so ..even if they work in other device ..in this kinda cameras it will see 'em as empty if they arent great in quality and amperage ...

The fault could be either defective batteries or a defective camera. All you can do is to try a full initial battery charge (24 hours) and if that doesn't work return the camera to the retailer for a refund or exchange.

Your battery may be worn out and is unable to get re-charged. Buy a new battery for your camera, or try your battery in a matching camera to verify that it is depleted, if so try a new/other battery in your camera to verify that you need a new battery.

This battery cannot used Choose battery designated for use in this camera

You probably bought a battery that's not original and is not decoded. Nikon uses coded reading of batteries, so you can't put any battery in it.
If it's an original battery with a certificate on it, you should contact your nearest Nikon store.

Why doesn't my camera charge when plugged into the computer USB port?

The C182 is not designed nor intended to charge batteries. You can use either disposable or rechargeable batteries, but if you choose to use rechargeables then they must be charged outside the camera.

Very poor quality pictures; grainy.

This is easily fixed - go into MENU and you will find a picture quality Q. This is designed to go from FINE - Medium - POOR in order to enable you to take more photos on you cameras memory. Install at least a 1gb memory stick into your camera and then choose HIGHEST QUALITY you will now be able to get plenty a photos at the highest quality possible gor the camera with an 8.2 megapixal those photos should be really nice.
