ru model tvs are usually dlp which means you will need a lamp replacement the instructions are in the user manual and lg will be the best source for the replacement part.

You most likely have a problem with the voltage protection circuitry, the screen starts up, the crowbar is somehow activated, and it shuts it down, You need a service manual. Power supply on left hand side module. check if heatsinks are cold. possible faulty. fuses and input voltages first check.

I just fixed my plasma with same looking problem. Mine is a 42PX11. Cost me $320.00 in parts from Fishwick Electonics. Replaced three circuit boards, crossed my fingers and turned it on and am happy to report it has been working fine since for about 6 months now.

Try to replace the YSUS board first. If not fix then try to replace the ZSUS board.

Open the back cover and check the fuses on Y Sus Board and X Sus Board. If you can find a blown fuse, just replace that board and your problem will be fixed.
