When I turn my mp3 on it says no files, when connecting it to my pc in the removable disk on my computer all the tracks are there. I've tried recharging and changing from wma to mp3. Never had any trouble before, what can i do?
My Audio dream says there are no files - but there are. Have downloaded the upgrade from Packard Bell, and it worked for a few weeks, but now I have the same problem again. Cannot seem to get any help from Packard Bell, who have sent me an incorrect e-mail address to contact their "tech guys".
Any one had any success with them?

Try going to packardbell.com and downloading the new firmware upgrade. I had the same problem and this seemed to fix it. But be careful coz if you choose the wrong upgrade you can knacker ur MP3 player altogether.

at my experience the mp3 player if connect to computer will at charging mode and at windows explorer will detect as removable disk like pen drive
at this state you can copy/paste file from computer to mp3 player or from mp3 player to computer
if your computer did not detect mp3 player as removable disk it mean your need to install mp3 player driver to your computer first

Try this solution:
Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,etc from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Windows Update from last year killed this player. The company is out of the mp3 business, so there is no way to fix this issue. You could try reformatting the player: Ensure the Digital Audio Player is ON. Use the supplied USB cable to connect between Digital Audio Player and PC. Double click My Computer icon on the desktop. You can find a "Removable Disk" is added to your computer. Right click on the Removable Disk then select Format. Select FAT
same prob, whent through the same steps.
