Is there a software problem with 20RESA?

there are too emergency stop sensors on generators
one is over load
the other is low oil level in the sump (Low oil pressure)
That sensor is known to trigger and activate the emergency stop so check it out after you check the oil level in the sump

is it running eratic, load or no load ,they are normaly set to run at 3600rpm at this speed they will make their correct voltage

No there is no way to do that unless you are a Kohler dealer, and have their service software, which is only available to dealers. It is called KOloader.

Use a meter and adjust to 3000/3600rpm or 50/60Hz. Then check output voltage to be in range 230/115V depending on which country you are in. Adjustment is done on the governor to throttle linkages.

need to calibrate the main control board. 83089. also is it overspeed or overcrank? if the board does not see the right rpm or is blow a certain threshold it will think it has not started yet and shut down on overcrank.

check your volt-meter..if it works...then find out if 3600rpm is normal for that kind of generators...if so...check AVR card...its allways the problem...replace it
