Internet light its normally blink, you have to make that the UPnP on your XBox is enabled.
SOURCE: the internet port light keeps flashing amber
Frustrating that the answer is not readily apparent from Netgear but it's really pretty easy. An Amber light on the Internet Port means the same as an Amber Light on a Lan Port. That is, the router senses the connection is less than the maximum speed. No, Netgear does not document this in their manual but will 'fess up to it if you talk to a real Tech Support person. There is no difference in the lights in the Internet Port and Lan Ports. They are both "Ports". From Netgear:
Green - The LAN (local area network) port has detected link with a 100 Mbps
device.
Green Blinking - Data is being transmitted or received at 100 Mbps.
Amber - The Local port has detected link with a 10 Mbps device.
Amber Blinking - Data is being transmitted or received at 10 Mbps.
No light - No link is detected on this port.
But your Internet still works you say. Yes, that is because your connection to your ISP is just about always less than the minimum speed, so you don't notice any difference other than an annoying change in color on the router. This usually can be resolved by resetting the modem. That will cause the ISP to reconnect to you with a different modem at their end. They have a piece of equipment that is less than optimal but if they are like most ISPs, they will not have a clue (or an interest in getting it fixed). If you call your ISP, they will probably set you on a whole course of checking your computer network drivers, updating router firmware, resetting and rebooting your computer, etc. All steps listed in the Official HelpDesk Guide to Getting the Customer Off the Phone Manual as one of those usually will eventually will be a reset of the offending piece of equipment.

Hi,
In Netgear routers if the tick light is on that mean there are some issues in the router. Normal by resetting the router to factory default can be solve these issues. Please follow the steps below to reset the router.
1. Locate the reset hole at the back of the router.
2. Press the reset button with the help of pen or a pointed object for 15 seconds.
3. Take out the power cable without releasing the reset button.
4. Plug the power back cable without releasing the reset button.
5. Hold the button for 15 more seconds and then release it.
