The remote mentioned only has about 50 codes built into it---and note: RCA and GE are the same= try all possible codes for each.

Use channel up/down. Hit channel down below channel 2, will be your video inputs.

You need to go get an RF modulator. They can be purchased at Radio Shack or a number of other electronic shoppes for a reasonable price.

The RF modulator connects to the coax cable connector and it has inputs for the RCA connectors.

Your GE TV most likely doesn't have anything but a antenna input on it? If that the case to connect a DVD player you must purchase a RF modulator to convert the video and audio output of a DVD player to a channel 3 or 4 output. Here is a link for one at Radio Shack.
