One of these boards are causing this problem, we have them in stock if you need them. the tv is programmed to shut down if all circuits are not functioning properly.

The failure with your LCD might be due to defective capacitors in the power supply. These parts become defective due to excessive heat and fail prematurely If you are able to DIY, you can check the picture to see how defective capacitors look like.
Most failures on this TV are due to defective power supplies. If the TV does not turn ON, you should replace the power supply. Check this website to buy the power supply adapter and hopefully that should fix the TV.
In about 95% of the time if the TV is not powering up, the power supply needs to be replace or repair. I've repaired a few hundreds ot these power supplies.

If the answer is yes, it might be that you've got a problem with your windows setting. maybe you should try adjusting as follows:
>click on properties on your desktop
>click on the appearance tab
>click on effects button
>check the box "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts"
>click on ClearType

BUt there is help for you all.. Call Verizon, sign up for their "Expert Care" program. it's $10.00 a month, and active after the third month.
with a $75.00 deductable. THey will fix or Replace (give you choice of three alternate models/brands).
Free services under this plan are adjustments, and One FREE remote per year!.
i recomend you sign up for this program, and after 90 days. call for service. They more than likely will replace your TV's.
