Ive locked myself out of my G1 after entering the wrong entry code too many times and was wondering if there is a helpline for it? The email address I gave was incorrect as i didnt put a underscore so I'm not sure what to do? Any one know if there are any helplines??

I (drunkenly) forgot my pattern and locked myself out of the phone.
Pressing 'forot pattern' brings you to a gmail login screen but despite entering the correct details it just refreshes saying my usename and password are incorrect.
My username and password still work with gmail on my PC.
I have tried adding '@gmail.com' and '@googlemail.com' onto the end of my username to no avail.
WTF is going on with that? I don't want to reset my phone because its rooted so it will just brick unless I have the hacked image on the SD card, but I don't have the hacked image and can't put it on because without unlocking my phone, I can't mount the SD card and get access to it via my computer!!!! Grrrr...

You can't post conmments that contain an email address.
T-mobile is the only wireless provider that will even work with this phone....so kinda a no brainer....;)
if you had too many incorrect pattern attemps, the handset will automatically lock you out of your handset....if thats the case, the only thing left to do, is either go to the link i have below and trying to restore the forgotten username and/or password....just answer the questions the webside asks for and you can log in again....
if that fails you will have to reset your handset and create a new login with your phone.
the handset will need to be powered off, then press and hold the house and the red buttons at the same time until you see a triangle with a yellow "!" inside....when you see this screen release those keys and slide open the keypad and press the "ALT" and "W" keys at the same time. the handset will turn off and power on again and walk you through the setup. here you can either attempt to sign in again with the underscore or you can create a new account.
*******careful, any new numbers you added since you had the g1 will be lost if you cannot log in again with the same username and password******
Having the same problem with new kyocera zio m6000 got locked out of the google system on this tried doing the factory reset but to no prevail nothing at all..

Hi, three wrong entry of PIN code will result in SIM blocking. Once SIM gets blocked, phone starts asking PUK code to enter. If you again enter wrong code for three times, SIM gets completely blocked. You have to walk into your service provider outlet to get a replacement SIM card. PUK code is a SIM specific code assigned by your service provider. No way you can guess & enter it. So, when it asks for the PUK code, don’t do anything, get the PUK code from your service provider. Call to customer care using any other mobile phone which uses the same service provider. They will ask some details about you to make sure you are the owner of the SIM card. Questions might include your billing address, email ID, numbers you recently called or messaged etc. They might even ask you number printed on the SIM card, so be prepared with all details before calling them. Once you get the PUK code, enter it into the phone & your phone will return to normal. Good luck!!!
take it to the phone dealer. they should be able to access it using your sim info. if you enter the wrong information yourself too many times, it erases all the phone data!

You need to connect via wifi somewhere in order to unlock the phone. There are plenty of hotspots to go to, look for a starbucks or a kinkos in your area.
The service provider from whom you have purchased the sim card will only b able to provide you with the PUK code....also if you enter the code wrong 3 times the sim card gets blocked permanently and you will hav to replace it
