You may try and reset the induction cook top by disconnecting the power to the unit for up to 30 seconds. This will clear most false error codes. You can disconnect power by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. If the error code does not clear, then the unit more than likely can be experiencing an issue with the EOC and user interface board. This is not a typical do it yourself job; please consult a professional or your manufacturer.

I was boiling water for potatoes on the Electrolux induction cooktop last night. Only using one of the five burners when I heard a "pop" sound and possibly a flash of light. Error code we have is EO

Hi Gail, I am happy to assist you!

It appears the main control has detected a faulty or error condition. "E0" should be followed by two more digits to indicate which error has occurred. Let's try turning electrical power supply off. It is necessary to wait roughly ten minutes to reset cook-top main controls. If resetting the power does not correct the issue or provides a new error code, at this point, I would recommend having a service technician to diagnose the problem before investing in unnecessary parts.

Electrolux E 95 code

Hello Robert - Typically, error code E95 indicates a power voltage miscommunication to the main components of the unit. You may try and reset the induction cook top by disconnecting the power to the unit for up to 30 seconds by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. This often clears most false error codes. If the error code does not clear, then I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further.

I have a crack in the glass top cook top across the left front cook area. And this be fixed?

Hi glors732,m

A chip perhaps, but not a crack, you will need to replace the whole glass panel. Will be quite expensive though.

Kind Regards

Red light on cook top remains on always.

Don't really need a wiring diagram, although there may be one inside switch area. (make sure to put it back again if it is there) Will need the full model number to get you the part number you need. (model number usually on a sticker near where the electrical wire enters the cook top)
Turn off power to cook top. Open cover to switches. Pull two "pilot" (usually smaller spade terminals) off the switch for the right front burner, and insulate each with a bit of electrical tape. Turn power back on to see if light now off. If yes, replace that switch. If no, replace those wires and repeat procedure with the next switch until you find the bad switch. Send a comment if you need additional help.

GE profile performance electric cook top is not producing enough heat in the front burners.

Confirm there is 240 VAC powering the unit (make sure a breaker has not tripped or a fuse blown.).

Did the burners ever produce enough heat?

If yes, then we can look deeper. If no, then the burners may not be adequate for your cooking style. Burners are like light bulbs. A 60 watt bulb will put out more light than a 40 watt bulb. A 100 watt bulb will put out more light than a 60.
Typically, a small burner will provide less cooking heat than a large burner.

GE cooktop has porceline "popping" off literally.

Porceline (a coating over metal in this case) is actually a type of glass, and subject to fracture upon sudden thermal shock or physical stress. The part you indicate is WB62T10124 for a JGB939C1WW probably a bit over $150 or a WB62T10132 for a JGP939C2WW, probably a bit over $100, but the labor to replace it would be costly. If you rate this, please remember I did not manufacture this product, nor am I a GE employee, so please don't shoot the messenger.
